RECENT VISIT TO NYS TROOPER BARRACKS
THE RECENT PINEWOOD DERBY!
One of the great fun activities for our scouts is the annual Pinewood Derby, in which each scout
builds a wooden race car from a supplied kit. The races are computer-monitored to 1/1000th of
a second, and awards are given for all participants, fastest finishers, best car design, scariest car,
and many other design categories. This year, Pack 118 again hosted the Westchester-Putnam
winners invitational race, doubling our fun!
